Dr. Shane Moss

HEAD CHIROPRACTOR

Hi, my name is Dr Shane Moss, Doctor of Chiropractic located in Maitland NSW.

I chose to study chiropractic because I enjoy helping people and seeing the improvement that I can make in someones quality of life.

I studied for my Science Degree at the Sydney University, and then I followed up this degree with a Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University.

After graduating I did a couple of years as a locum in NSW, Victoria, WA and Queensland, and then I did a short stint as a workplace manual handling and ergonomic assessor.

Following this I worked in the UK for 8 years before I relocated back to the Hunter in 2007 to take over from Peter Reilly.

Overall, I have completed more than 20 years in Chiropractic, with over 10 Years at Lorn Chiropractic Clinic.

I am happily married and a father of 4, I really enjoy anything that involves getting to spend time with my family. I also love Bike Riding (Cycling) and just living an overall ‘healthy’ life that’s full of fun and energy.

Dr Adam Arnold

Hi, my name is Dr Adam Arnold, Doctor of Chiropractic.

I’m excited to be joining the team at Lorn Chiropractic and will be available Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Dr Adam Arnold - Lorn Chiropractic

My journey into chiropractic began after a serious car accident at age 17. A surgeon recommended spinal surgery and a year of bed rest, but instead I chose to explore a natural approach to healing. Through 12 months of chiropractic care, my pelvis and spine were realigned and my health was restored—an experience that inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others regain their quality of life through chiropractic.

I completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in the United States and have since worked extensively in both Australia and abroad, supporting patients with a wide range of spinal, postural and functional concerns.

I have developed a strong reputation for gentle, effective, wellness-focused care and a commitment to helping people function at their best.

My approach emphasises clear communication, evidence-informed practice and long-term spinal health. I pride myself on making patients feel heard, supported and confident in their care plan.

Outside of practice, I enjoy staying active, travelling, and spending quality time with my family and community. I’m passionate about healthy living and love helping people discover what their bodies are truly capable of when functioning well.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey to better health and movement.

Lorn Chiropractic Clinic

Whilst most of our patients live in the Maitland area, some can travel up to 2 hours just to come in for regular treatment.

The Clinic was started in the late 1980’s by Peter Reilly. Peter was a well known professional in the local community, especially in the Rugby fraternity for his exceptional treatment and big personality.

Peter unfortunately passed away in 2007 after a short illness, and Dr Shane Moss took over the clinic.

Due to the style of care, and results experienced, some of our patients have been attending the clinic for over 20 years.
